Pucker up, baby! Martellus Bennett made a big play

Martellus Bennett’s game-winning touchdown came on the same play as the first score of his NFL career. But this seam route against man coverage by a safety came in a completely different situation.

Bennett had no reason to celebrate his first career TD, which came late in a humiliating loss to the Rams, dude. His leaping grab over Redskins SS Chris Horton gave the Cowboys their first lead with 10:43 remaining in the game.

Entourage season 6

“You can get your first kiss from Oprah, or you can get your first kiss from Halle Berry,” Bennett said, explaining the difference as only he could. “Oprah gave me the first kiss. This was Halle Berry right here.”

Welcome!

before reading any of the “reviews”, you should infer from the intro, and the faq, and if you want, the gloss of genre terms. there is also a practical recommendation piece of yarn that you can benefit to list inform suggestions for movies. and to shroud things scrub, all off topic posts are re-dated to be in january 2007 (which was before i began doing this little project) once they have ‘expired’ (i.e. are 10 days old). due to many people commenting “i demand to see this motion picture!” after a flyover, i tease decided to add amazon links within the reviews (they are located at the bottom), as warmly as a insufficient links to the horror film a day hold around the page, expectedly non-obstructively. amazon thinks fitting also automatically link things they find germane, so there dominion be a few random links in a review as clearly. if they become annoying, i’ll remove the functionality. veracious at the moment i’m just kind of amused what they turn up with (for lesson, they highlighted ‘a horror movie’ in the middle of complete review and it links to, of all things, the 50 chilling movies budget pack!!!).last but not least, some reviews in spoilers (note - with a few exceptions, anything written on the retaliation of the dvd or that occurs less than halfway Sometimes non-standard due to the moving picture i do not consider a spoiler). i bequeath be adding ’spoiler alerts’ for these reviews as i go through and re-do the older reviews (longtime readers may notice that there is now a ’show more’ which cleaned up the main page, as well as listing the source of the movie i watched, i.e. theaters, dvd, tv) to reflect the new format. this is time consuming, so bear with me.thanks for coming by and be sure to leave comments, play nice, and as till the end of time, watch cathy’s curse.

Leapfrog And The Learning Path For Kids

Img_4148 Silicon Valley Moms Group bloggers, first in Chicago then in New York City and Silicon Valley, recently had the opportunity to attend Leapfrog- sponsored discussions about how children learn to read and how technology can help them.

In Silicon Valley, they heard from Dr. Anne Cunningham, from the University of California , Berkeley, Graduate School of Education, talk about children learning to read (and loving to read). They also took a look at the new Leapfrog online community site.

In New York City and Chicago, bloggers discussed how technology can help kids learn with Dr. Elliot Soloway, from the University of Michigan Schools of Education and Information, and Dr. Cathleen Norris, from the University oLf_logo_new_for_2008_2f North Texas College of Education and former president of the National Education Computing Association.

Martin Eisenstadt-Palin Hoax: Unlike Climate Change, No Harm, No Foul

True Confessions: Martin Eisenstadt Story a HOAX The Hoax of Man-made Climate Change Still Not Reported

hoax

Sarah Palin Africa Story Leaker is a Hoax –But, HOAX Quickly Discovered

Yesterday’s story from an obscure blog, Martin Eisenstadt’s Blog, claimed the author the source of the “Sarah Palin doesn’t know Africa is a continent” news leak.

“Eisenstadt the source for Sarah Palin Africa leak…and Proud of it”

By now you’ve all heard the Fox News report last week that “unnamed” former McCain advisers

leaked that sarah palin was confused about whether africa was a continent, and which countries were in nafta. i was perfectly happy staying answerable to the radar as an anonymous source for fox news? carl cameron, but now that palin has accused her accusers of being “unprofessional?jerks?cowards? taking things out of context, and then tried to spread something on national news” and begun to cast doubt on the fox message report, maybe she’s instantly to a certain extent. into those of us on the mccain campaign who thought that she acted like a rogue diva and lost john the electing, maybe we do have a responsibility to come out in public. but sarah? careful what you ask due to the fact that: some of us may have more to gala.

So yes, to be clear, last week I was the one who leaked those things to a producer at Fox News who works with Cameron. Carl and his producers are good guys, and I don’t want them to have to worry about protecting their sources (and going through the wringer ala Judith Miller or Matt Cooper) on something like this.

The story turns out to be as believable as the original leaks were.

That is, they were a hoax.

Some reported on the Eisenstadt revelation; some didn’t.

The hoax was caught fairly quickly and alerts issued. MSNBC broadcast the hoax as fact before they caught it. Anyone who watched MSNBC’s election coverage couldn’t tell any difference in the network’s accuracy–either before or after the hoax broadcast.

As

But we say, whether you wrote or broadcast it or not: it was discovered quickly, so no harm, no foul.

Allah Pundit summed it up pretty well, Video: MSNBC falls for Palin/Eisenstadt hoax

Specifically, this hoax. I’d love to throw stones at them

FBI: Airline passenger restrained with duct tape

RALEIGH, N.C. ? An airline crew used duct tape to keep a passenger in her seat because they say she became unruly, fighting flight attendants and grabbing other passengers, forcing the flight to land in North Carolina.

Maria Esther Castillo of Oswego, N.Y., is due in court Thursday, charged with resisting arrest and interfering with the operations of a flight crew aboard United Airlines Flight 645, from Puerto Rico to Chicago.

Castillo, 45, struck a flight attendant on the buttocks with the back of her hand during Saturday’s flight, FBI Special Agent Peter Carricato said in a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Charlotte. She also stood and fell onto the head of a blind passenger and later started pulling the person’s hair, the complaint stated.

Ankle cuffs kept slipping off Castillo, so the flight crew and two passengers were forced to use duct tape to keep her in her seat, the complaint states.

She calmed as the pilot diverted the flight to Charlotte-Douglass International Airport, but became disruptive again when authorities boarded the plane to remove her, authorities said.

Carricato states that a passenger saw Castillo having drinks in an airport bar before boarding. She bought another drink on the plane. Flight attendants stopped serving her alcohol because of her behavior, the complaint states.

United spokesman Jeff Kovick said Wednesday that safety is the company’s top priority and that it’s cooperating with authorities.

FBI spokeswoman Amy Thoreson on Wednesday declined to comment on the ongoing investigation.

A message left seeking comment wasn’t immediately returned by Castillo’s attorney, Julia Mimms.
